During times of stress we lose touch with the present moment. On a physical level our breathing becomes shallow and we began to slow down the flow of blood, nutrients and vital energy. One moment of conscious breathing brings your awareness back to the present moment. In the present moment, in a more relaxed state we create possibilities. This one act done consistently, even if for only for 5 minutes a day can restore and rejuvenate the mind and body. In a relaxed state you feel happier, healthier and more productive.
Breathe Retention Exercise
- Sit back comfortably in your seat.
- Inhale and slowly count to 4, hold the breath at the top and then exhale to a count of 4
- Key Actions: Holding your breath increases pressure inside the lungs and gives them time to fully expand, increasing their capacity. As a result, the blood that then travels to the heart, brain, and muscles will be more oxygenated.
Nice share. Thankyou.
